Christmas Stockings
Stockings of Hope is a holiday tradition that began with Run 2 Rescue since 2012, when we distributed stockings to the girls they were working with. Over the years, the Lord has expanded this vision, and our Stockings of Hope project now provides joy and support to youth and young adults who have been victims of sexual exploitation, especially during the Christmas season—a time that can be particularly difficult for those separated from family or lacking a support system.
What began as a small effort to bless the girls in our care has expanded to include hundreds of CSEC youth in multiple counties and states. We now provide stockings not only to the youth we directly serve, but also to their siblings, group homes, foster homes, and families in need, including gifts and sometimes holiday meals.
Run 2 Rescue partners with law enforcement, probation, courts, group homes, and other organizations to ensure these gifts reach the youth who need them most. Starting in December, our team assembles stockings and delivers them across the region, including shipping to out-of-state youth.
The Stockings of Hope project has become a hallmark of the holiday season for Run 2 Rescue—spreading joy, hope, and God’s blessings to those who need it most.
